Okay, so the Stellenbosch leg of this here shindig is taking place at the awesome Klein Libertas Theatre next Thursday the 15th of Rocktober; entrance is R30, but if you wanna shave that you can print a flyer out here and get in for R20.
This price is well worth it though; there are some cool things happening on the night. Like, um, how about 2 in 1 massage lubricant just for being one of the first 200 people to arrive? That sound good? Great, ’cause there will also be brutal drink specials all night, four killer bands as well as DJs, and let’s not forget the very real possibility of obtaining minimum risk head-trauma from being the target of a well placed aerial projectile made entirely of free merchandise.
This year the line-up is littered with talent and originality; standing out amongst the numerous bands vying for national recognition and stardom are the eccentric trendsetters, DeathLikeDaises.
Since, ‘Marketing’ as a category, counts a lot towards the overall decision made by the panel of (I’m assuming – industry) judges, who better to get a full 10 than the band that organized a party bus from Somerset West to Stellenbosch on the night of the event? That’s right. If you want in on the party-bus madness, drop Dominic Zimmerman a mail at:
DeathLikeDaisies are a post-hardcore band, most of whom originate from the quaint village of Somerset West and the surrounding areas.
The band is:

Christi Crispidy Crunch – Hardcore guitar served with a side order of screaming
Matty Crisp – Rumbling, stumbling slap’n tap’n bass plus screams. aweh.
Olz Harrison – Technical, Rhythmic “Aaron Gillespie” inspired drumming
